My goodness, where do I even begin? Everything about this was incredible and earned itself a spot right into my top ten.
The game starts off so strongly with immaculate lore and worldbuilding that leaves the player so intrigued and yearning for discovery.
And the characters are all written so well with such distinct tones of voice and personalities. King Anduin was encapsulated so perfectly in the short moment we met him and same with Clyde, the entity and of course Anselm. Their personalities were so strong, unique and well written. They all played their parts in the story so so well. And I liked how even in some of the scarier moments and scenes you treated the topics with respect and addressed them so well! Very deeply appreciated
I also adored the art immensely, the sprites are some of the prettiest ones I have ever seen and the expressions are so well down, they're especially soft and reverent for Anselm which I loved. I really liked the canvas painting style backgrounds as well and the UI complimented the game so so well. Everything lent it's strength into what was ultimately a very lovely package.
Another thing to shoutout is the choice of music, it was so well suited for all the scenes and even the sound design for the SFX was masterfully done! It was placed so well and in the right moments which made the atmospheric horror a divine experience even though I was scared LOL.
You have absolutely outdone yourself, from beginning to end I was enraptured and this was joy to experience and play. I felt so lucky that I was sitting here able to play something like this!
